We had conferences at school for each of the boys over the last few weeks. Here is how they all scored....
Nolan:
He scored high in:
*Walks without help (He can trip a lot though)
*Can climb
*Kicks a ball
*Walks up and down stairs alone
*Stacks 2 or more blocks
*Throws a ball
*Lifts cup to mouth to drink
*Gives hugs and kisses
*Scribbles with a crayon
Areas they are working on:
*Turning pages in a book one at a time.
*Using more signs and words. According to the teachers he only signs when they make him.
*Feeds self with spoon. He prefers hands.
Here is what they wrote about him:
"Nolan has grown up so fast in our room. He's one of our oldest and we hope he never moves up. Our favorite thing about him is how he's always smiling and giving out hugs to everyone. In the next couple of months we will work on expanding his vocabulary and sitting at a table for meals."
Easton:
He scored high in:
*Stands on one foot
*Climbs equipment and can walk on stairs one foot per step.
*Holds crayon with fingers
*Draws or copies vertical lines and colors in circular motion.
*Talks in 2-3 word phrases and uses sentences.
*Asks who,what and where questions.
*Eats with spoon and dresses himself.
*Plays well with others, imitates parent's activities and says "look, watch me do....."
Areas they are working on:
The only things he scored low on his 2-3 year old evaluation was unbutton buttons.
Here is what they wrote about him:
"Easton is a treat to have in the inventors classroom. We love his athletic/sensitive personality. He loves to run and tackle outside and enjoys playing in the kitchen and with baby dolls with the other children inside. Easton always tries to be independent." I asked them how he got along with other kids and after talking with them for the 15 minutes I came to the conclusion they see a very different side of Easton. I would describe him as "strong willed, loving and opinionated/picky. "They described him as "gets a long with everyone, easy going and a romantic." Apparently he likes to kiss his girlfriend a lot on the playground.
Spencer:
He scored high in:
*Hops on one foot, skips, has good balance and coordination.
*Can catch throw and kick a ball.
*Can hold a writing utensil correctly.
*Can write his name.
*Can work on puzzles with more then 6 pieces.
*Prints a few letters.
*Communicates ideas, feelings and share thoughts or ideas during group time.
*Speaks in 4-6 word sentences that are intelligible.
*Dresses himself.
*Remembers to wash after using the bathroom and uses a tissue and throws it away.
*Shares toys and materials during play time.
*Puts toys away.
* Cooperative and loves playing make believe.
*Familiar with days of the week, month, can match letters and numbers.
*He can count to 39 (he can go higher with a little assistance.)
Areas to work on:
*Coloring in the lines.
*Has a hard time staying in his seat at meal times.
*Following simple game rules. Or a series of 3 directions.
They didn't really write anything about him. While talking to his teacher though she told me he's been a great helper and has had great listening ears. It seems like in the last few months he has grown up so much!

We had a play date at a park with friends....
Someone else LOVES their blanket. Spencer's the only one thats not attached.
Grandpa John and Grandma Julie sent Halloween treats.
We also made our own ghost cookies.
Nolan loves potato soup.
Date night. Dinner and music class.
Please tell my why I own a bed for them?
After he saw the picture of Easton in my jeans he wanted to try.
