All the hockey pictures are starting to blend together.
This year with all 3 skating there are times when 2 of them have to get on or off the ice at the same time. It's requiring more responsibility for Spencer and he loves helping out.
Part of our volunteer hours was they had to clean up the locker room so they went and helped Ryan one evening.

The two older boys were both goalies this past weekend. So once again it was off to the store for them to practice one night.

Sometimes they've had enough of hockey. Well only Nolan really feels this way...
I'm tired of all the gear around the house! 4 bags, 4 sticks.

Now onto the other things that fills up our weeks. Sorry if my captions aren't great or things seem out of order. I guess that's what happens when you avoid doing the blog for a month.
Spencer's glasses came in. He was excited to go pick them up! He says he's been good about wearing them at school.
Spencer also had his 2nd grade concert. It was under the sea themed.
Spencer was an Eel. That means he had to dress in black and dance around in a circle. He told me had tried out for both a speaking part and a solo.
Easton caught the flu bug. He was excited when his teacher sent homework home with Spencer.
We also took this time home to work on tying his shoes.
We attended the annual school fall festival.
I took the boys to get one of their Christmas presents. We've decided that we will continue to rent their snow equipment. Since Spencer is 7 he can finally try snowboarding.

Jake came to spend the day with us while his mom worked. Nolan can stink at sharing sometimes.
I love Easton in the morning these days. He always seems happy. I love that he still says to me "Love you mom I'll see you when I get home!" Every day before he gets on the bus.
We celebrated Spencer getting a 100% on his spelling test. A local restaurant gives out free kid's meals for those who get 100%.
I had my annual girl's cabin weekend. It's a weekend that I greatly look forward to. We get to sleep in, spend time with friends and laugh a lot. It's always nice to get away to recharge.
The boys got to spend their Halloween gift cards when I got home. Nolan wanted a bath tub toy.
Spencer wanted a rainbow loom to make bracelets. I hate having those rubber bands all around the house!
He thinks he can do magic by sticking quarters to his head.
Spencer likes to draw. Typically before he falls asleep he likes to doodle or write in his room. Here he drew my tattoo and brought it into show me one night.

With little boys you never know what you will find when you walk into the bathroom. Sometimes its cute….
But most of the time it's gross. Some how that toy magically fell into the toilet that was full of pee.
I was asked to help out at the store.
I also attended Nolan's Thanksgiving fest at school.

Ryan took Easton for ice cream after hockey one night.
For some reason he loves to fall asleep in his chair.
We surprised the boys with a magical visit to see Santa. A local photographer sets up a Santa experience for kids every year. Knowing that our years with Spencer truly believing (he's already starting to question and has told me that friends at school have told him there is no Santa and it's just your parents pretending) are limited I figured this was the perfect year to keep the magic and believing going. I wish I could have captured it all on video it was great.
The boys started out by visiting with Santa. I had wrote in some fun facts about them and behaviors I would like them to work on. Santa talked to them about school, hockey and other things going on. He also read part of the polar express to them.
They had cookies and milk together.
They made sure to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas. Spencer wants a real badger football helmet and equipment. Easton looked around the room and told Santa he wanted a train but has since changed his mind to shopkins. Nolan asked Santa for a train also and a nut cracker.
Chippy was also in the studio waiting for the boys. He's since been showing up around our house.

We celebrated Thanksgiving in Eau Claire. Grandma Nancy came to spend the day with us and we even had a surprise visit from Aunt Roz.
The kids broke the no electronics rule.
But did some bonding over bingo for hours.
Ryan snuck Spencer off in the afternoon. They drove all the way to Green Bay for the Packer game. The weather was awful, the game wasn't much better but they got to spend the evening together watching history made when they retired Brett Favre's number and even Bart Starr made an appearance.
Luckily their seats were under a roof so they didn't get wet. But it was windy and cold.
The boys had dinner at Perkins one night
This is pretty typical to have them running around the house with no shirts on. If they had the choice I think they would live life in shorts and nothing else.
We have a very little amount of snow. That doesn't stop Spencer from trying out his new snowboard.

One of my favorite small bands was playing at a bar in Hudson. There are very few of my friends who like country music. So the 3 of us headed out to see him perform.
While I was recovering/napping on the couch the next afternoon the boys were cleaning the window with bathroom cleaner.
