Spencer is still plugging away at those allergy shots. It's a great time for him to get his homework done but shots are just no fun! One would think with time they would get easier but nope…. they still hurt every time! He's getting much better with them, but they still hurt.
I treated him to dinner afterwards and he got to pick. He LOVES Jersey Mike's because he gets the meatball sub and can eat the whole thing!
Nolan finally had his appointment to have the mole on his head checked out. He was pretending to be shy for the nurse. The Dr said with head moles they can be tricky. They allow those moles to have rougher looking edges and they do quickly grow in size with kids because their heads are growing. She took measurements and photos of his mole and wants us to come back in 6 months to make sure it hasn't grown more or look different but she felt that this mole was normal.
I'm loving my stay home days with Nolan. He LOVES to play games. Currently his favorite is Zingo. Only he doesn't really play fair and tells me he gets to pick the chips first for his board before I do. So I'm sure you can guess who the winner usually is.
Jake and Ben joined us at the YMCA this week for the wiggle and giggle time in the gym.
Nolan likes to collect things and keep them in a pile. Here are a few examples of what I mean.

When I bring Nolan and Jake to school they like to pretend they are sleeping and wait for me to tickle them to wake them up.
Ryan got a last minute idea to take the boys to a preseason Wild games. The tickets were really cheap since it was a preseason game. At first he wasn't sure if he was going to bring Nolan but look who got to join and celebrated his first Wild game complete with a certificate and puck!

Hudson had a home football game but the boys like to do pretty much anything other than watch the game!
Spencer always gets excited to play goalie. I dread every minute of it. I find it very stressful to watch and can't wait for the game to be over.

They had their last 3 on 3 hockey game this weekend and they were in the championship game. Spencer scored the first 2 goals and their team ended up winning the game. We are so proud of our little hockey player!

Easton had his first school field trip to the apple orchard. He was extra excited that I was able to go with. In fact there were so many parents signed up to go that we all basically got paired with our own kids.
We took a hay ride out.

Easton has a color chart at school and each day they fill out what color they were on. That evening we are supposed to sign the box so the teacher knows we saw it. The good behavior colors are green, blue and purple. The naughty colors are yellow, orange and red. When I opened Easton's book tonight I noticed there were already 2 signatures in boxes I didn't sign. He's already trying to forge my initials! I asked him about it and he said he was doing it so I wouldn't have to. Like he was doing us a favor. I told him how it's important for mom to sign it. It's not like his colors were bad so I honestly think he thought it was fun to sign.

Ryan was in charge of the boys soccer pictures. Poor Nolan it was his first time doing a real sport and he has to share his pictures with his older brother! I'm guessing he'll get his own pictures for hockey though...

Fall is here and that means there is a lot of football going on. If they're not playing football they're watching it. Spencer and our neighbor Sam get home from school every day and put on their pads/jerseys. They would play all night.
Fall also means pumpkins. We took the boys to pick out the pumpkins they want to carve this year.

Fall also means baking! We made pumpkin bars and these 3 offered to help right as I was finishing the frosting on the pumpkin bars. So they helped me by cleaning off the beaters and spoon.

Oh Josie! She is always patiently waiting until someone isn't looking. I had just taken dinner out of the oven. I put it on the stove to cool down. Took her outside with me and didn't even notice that one of the boys had let her back in. When I went in I found over 1/2 our dinner gone thanks to her!
Easton used his Target gift card to buy some shopkins. He's so excited about them. To me it's just more tiny pieces to try and keep track of.
Spencer has been asking Ryan for over a year to go to a "real" Packer game. So when the schedule came out in April, Ryan thought the October 11 game would be a good one. The weather should still be good and it was a noon game. Spencer has been so excited to go and was up dressed and ready to head to Green Bay early Sunday morning. They had great seats in the 17th row and the people around them were a lot of fun and giving Spencer high fives and one guy even gave Spencer his cushion chair and shared his peanuts with Spencer! Spencer was able to sit the entire game and cheered and cheered the Packers to a 24-10 win over the St. Louis Rams.
