Park Fun and Homecoming!

We love going to the park and being outside. We are lucky to have other friends that are off during the week with us so we can have play dates.

This day Nolan insisted on wearing his shades

We also tried out a new park that had a nice trail around a lake for us to take a walk

Oliva is just a little bit older then Easton.

This weekend was Hudson's homecoming. To get everyone pumped up the football players and cheerleaders visited the elementary school. I found this picture on Spencer's school page. That's him watching in the navy shirt.

I asked Spencer what he did at school one day and he informed me he cut his shirt. I'm not sure why I bother getting my kids cute new clothes. They are constantly ruining them by putting holes in the knees and now cutting them!

The only way Easton will eat a raspberry is if he can get it on his finger and he has something to drink right after he swallows.

I met some friends downtown to watch the homecoming parade.

Easton pretty much stayed like this the whole time. The fire trucks were noisy.

Another reason I like having only 2 kids home with me. They are way easier to take to the store. It also helps that this store has stuff to entertain the kids

I took Nolan on a run with me one evening. He kept giving me high fives through the window on the top.

While I was at a baby shower Ryan took the boys to the homecoming football game

Nothing like a little sugar this late at night

Maggie is a few months younger then Nolan. She lives a few houses down from us.

Eason started skating lessons this weekend. He's so excited and so proud of himself. Spencer cried the whole time he was gone because he wanted to play hockey and not soccer. He doesn't understand that his hockey season just hasn't started yet.

We had a couples date night at Vino In The Valley. It's a great spot and we hope to get back there next season.

We have some friends that were house hunting in Milwaukee. Their mom was watching their boys while we were gone but suddenly got ill. We offered to take them for a bit. They also have 3 boys. I totally think I could handle 6 boys. Or maybe not.....

This is her youngest Luke. I miss the days when my boys just cuddled with me.

With 6 we could have a whole basketball team.
(Ok I'm really not thinking about having anymore. Our 3 is plenty!)

The super hero's are refueling!

2 Weeks, In 1 Post!

Sorry, I didn't post last week. You haven't missed much as I seem to not take my camera out much these past two weeks. We are still figuring out our "new normal" with Spencer being in school.

Last Sunday Ryan went to the Packer game. He had seats in the new section and took a few pictures from his seat. I still don't think there is a bad seat in that stadium.

With the new addition, this past Sunday was the largest crowd ever at Lambeau

Best part you get an actual seat not a bench.

My neighbor/friend Amanda and I took the boys to the zoo in the afternoon. The ran from animal to animal and finished the zoo in about 10 minutes.

We agreed to a ride before heading home.

I asked Amanda if she ever wished her van was a limo like I do so that you could put the partition up between the front and the back. This way you wouldn't have to hear the whining of over tired kids in the back seat. Easton happened to snap this picture of me as I was turing around for probably the 20th time to tell someone to stop doing something.

Amanda went to school to help out in the lunch room. She took a few pictures of Spencer for me to ease my mind that things were going ok for him.

My sister has made me nervous that no one will help Spencer tie his shoes (she doesn't tie shoes for her kids she makes them find a friend to help). So one evening after school Spencer and I worked really hard on mastering this skill. I'm proud to say he can now tie his own shoe!

It's strange only having 2 kids at home on stay home days. I'm not going to lie, I LOVE it! It's way easier taking 2 places. We can actually go to the store. We are still having fun though outside while we can and have play dates at parks.

I always hope that the little boys will sleep until I get Spencer on the bus. The bus stop isn't far away it's on the corner of the other cul de sac but I'm just not ready to send Spencer down there on his own. He does have to cross our busier street so in the mornings we all bundle up and walk down there. I dread winter.

Here we are celebrating there are only 2 boys at home with silly faces.

Nolan's hair grows fast like Spencer's and mine.

We love the silly faces...

We went out to celebrate a few birthdays this week.

I got my hair done last week and thought it would be a great idea to go darker....

The next day I had my hair dresser strip it all out so I could be blonde again.

Dear Packers: You need to start winning more games! Thank You!

The boys are playing their version of paper dolls.

Long days at school tired our boys out!

We headed to grandma and grandpa's friday evening. Even though we they weren't there we still had a pizza party at their house.

Heather's school was having a glow in the dark fun run. It was a 2 mile race and the best part you could dress up in all the glow stuff you wanted.

Easton cried for about the first 0.5 miles. He didn't think we were running fast enough to win the race. I have no idea where he gets his competitive edge from...

The runners.....

After the race dance party....

With fall here and my mom gone I felt obligated to decorate the house myself. I'm hoping I picked the right mums and they bloom!

Nolan has been very interested in going potty on the potty. On our stay home days I even put him in underwear at times. I'm glad he's excited about it and doing so well.... I just HATE potty training. Even Easton isn't 100%, ugh!

Sunday I ran in the Women Run The Cities race. I've been training/running with some friends. We typically meet 1-2 times a week. A few of us had singed up to do this race together as kind of an end of the season type thing. I was happy my sister agreed to come up and run with us.

My neighbor Staci ran the race on her birthday!

Amanda, Staci and me....

Even though I tried to get my sister to just leave me in the dust (I secretly knew this wasn't going to be an awesome run and hoping maybe then I could walk and no one would know) she stuck by me. I'm thankful she will slow down to my pace even though she could finish in the top. Its fun having her next to me and it keeps me motivated as I wouldn't want her to see me give up and walk. I didn't set any major goals. I was hoping to beat my last time but no such luck I was about 20 secs slower. I was sort of thank full when we saw a lady with a leg cramp that I actually could stop for a min to see how she was doing. It bugs me a little that I didn't do better but then I think about to when I first started and I can still be proud of where I'm at today. So I will take 28:08 (9:04 mile pace) 106th out of 1046 and 25th out of 194 for my age group.
