Nolan is such a good boy. He cracks us up with all of the crazy things he says. I feel like out of the 3 boys Nolan is a bit more advance then the other 2 were when it comes to talking. (Or I just can't remember the other two being 3). First of all he talks A LOT. He loves to tell Grandma stories and he's the one that will ask you a 100 questions. Recently when he asked me what something was I told him the answer and he looked at me and said "Tell me the truth……" It's probably one of those things where you just have to be around him to understand just how cute he is!
Being the youngest and having 2 older brothers has forced Nolan to be rough and tough to keep up with the big boys. Easton may pick on him a lot now but it won't be long and I think Nolan will pass him in size. Nolan is currently 37 inches (31%) and 33.2 pounds (65%)
Easton and Nolan..
Nolan is our average eater. He's not super picky but he has his preferred foods. He likes chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, grilled cheese, strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, bananas, corn, pancakes and mostly he will drink milk. He LOVES any and all sweets!
I sort of thought up until this week that Nolan might stay in his crib forever! He wasn't attempting to crawl out. He has always been our easiest to put to bed and he will often say, "put me in my bed" when you are cuddling with him at night. Over the last few months though he's been slowly giving up naps. This week however things changed when one morning we heard a thunk followed by the door opening and closing. When I looked out into the hallway and saw him standing there he just started to laugh! Ugh I'm just not sure I'm ready to say goodbye to the crib. Selling the crib is like officially saying we are done having a baby in the house. This is going to be WAY harder on me!
It's never been a secret that Nolan was a surprise to us. He has truly been one of the best surprises life could offer. We love that little boy with all of our heart. He truly makes our family complete. Even if he did come a little earlier then planned! His smile and laugh are contagious. We feel blessed to be his parents! Love you little Nolie!
Here are a few pictures looking back over the last year of our cute 3 year old!
We'll check in next week some time. We're off to celebrate Aunt Renee's wedding this weekend!
