We celebrated on Christmas Eve day with my family. The 5 littles got comfy christmas pjs to open their gifts in. We told them they couldn't open any presents until we got a picture of all of them. I think that was the fastest and best all 5 have ever sat.
Grandma as usual didn't disappoint and spoiled us all. The boys are lucky to be so loved and spoiled.
We started out going oldest to youngest and taking turns. To my surprise Easton did the best. He would sit and wait by his presents until he got the go ahead. Spencer was happy to help Nolan open his gifts. Nolan could have cared less about opening presents this year.
Aaron Rodgers sent a very special gift to all the boys. Packer Cheese hats.
This is basically where Nolan and Hadley sat the whole time watching all of the craziness go on around them. They are super cute together.
Grandma did her part in supporting Ryan and got lots of Target GiftCards.

Spencer got new shoes and was excited at how fast they are. He told his teacher at school that his shoes are fast but his mom told him he could only go fast outside. She thanked me for that.

The roller skates are the gift that Easton seemed to be the most excited about.
The final gift. ipads as the kids call them, however they are Kindle Fires. The older boys are excited to have their own "iPads."
The tradition of the gag gifts continues. I think a few of us saved ours for the last minute but they never disappoint.
Grandpa gave Patrick "A pot to piss in" for his new garage.
Grandma gave Grandpa warm pjs and a stella glass for the man who is always thirsty and cold.
Auntie is convinced this is the year I've realized how cool she is and gave me my very own bronzed running shoe.
I've always been a more girly girl so I thought I should teach Auntie a few things so Hadley can grow up a girly girl
I had some help in the how to apply make up section.
This photo inspired Ryan's gift to grandma and with it came a manual for how to properly get out of an inner tube. (I'm sure Grandma will love that I'm posting this picture!)
The only gift I didn't get a picture of was the gift from Uncle Patrick to Ryan. He gave him a safety grilling kit to alarm our kids and neighbors when Ryan is grilling. Last summer Ryan had the grill a little to close to our house and it warped our siding.
Christmas Eve we celebrated with Grandpa's side of the family. This year there was a special surprise. Santa dropped by with an early present!
We posed for our traditional Santa hat picture. Getting all 9 of us ready isn't an easy task...
But it turned out alright. Even Zoey snuck in for a kiss from Grandma.
In true Easton style he refused to take off his roller blades. His legs had to be tired!
We drove home Christmas Eve night and quickly put out cookies and milk. Spencer thought for sure Santa would like chocolate milk.

We threw out carrots and put out a bucket of water for the reindeer.
That night while everyone was sleeping Santa came....
Spencer waited patiently until his brothers got up before opening.
He finished off the cookies Santa couldn't eat.

Finally the last boy was awake. He insisted on getting dressed before coming downstairs. At least he picked the right colors.
They started tearing into the presents.
Then is happened my call phone went off. I was on call for Christmas day. My heart sunk because I knew it meant I would have to go in. But at least I got to see Christmas morning.
We skyped with Grandma Julie, Grandpa John and Uncle JB.

After I got back from working at the hospital we finished our Christmas. The boys were excited about their gifts and have been busy playing with the new toys ever since.

We took off on Friday after work and started the drive to Platteville. We stopped half way to spend the night and break up the drive. The boys swam to burn off some energy before going to bed.

The boys slept GREAT! Everyone went to bed without a fuss and slept all night.
We finished the drive to Platteville Saturday morning to have Christmas with the Klaas family. The boys had fun playing with all the toys in the church basement. It worked out great because there are a lot of toys from the classrooms in the basement. You would never know that they don't get to see their cousins very often. It takes them only a sec before they are all running around together and making up games.
Great Grandma let Spencer ring the bell while they sang Christmas songs.

I think this is all of the great grand children. How lucky of a grandma to have so many cute great grandkids. Seriously though poor Anika is the only girl. Out of all of these kids how is there only 1 girl?
On our way home we stopped at Grandma and Grandpa's to spend the night to break up the drive again. We played with Easton's new race track.
And the boys had fun playing with Spencer's new Nerf gun.
I'm sure Grandma and Grandpa would enjoy having little orange darts stuck to their ceiling. Thankfully they fall off right away. You can barely see it stuck right above Spencer.
After Nolan's last hair cut his curl is pretty much gone. But every once in awhile it pops out.
We hope everyone had a great holiday and enjoyed their time with friends and family like we did.
