It was Easton that had the most changes this week. He's getting so big and is now up to 19 pounds. Do you know how heavy that is when you are trying to carry him in the infant car seat! I decided since I had time off this week to change out the car seats. He now gets to sit in a big boy car seat facing backwards. I ended up needing to buy two new car seats. One of them Spencer will use since it will transition into a booster seat. His new car seat has a cup holder and he's now convinced when he go somewhere that there needs to be a glass of milk in it at all times.

We also put away the bouncy seat and the swing will be next. It's hard to believe that just 7 months ago he was little enough to use the bouncy seat as his bed and now he can hardly fit in it. I spent a few hours one day going through both Easton and Spencer's clothes. I had to sort through what fits, what doesn't and start getting out the fall stuff. Between Spencer and Finley's old clothes Easton is set. Easton is now wearing 6-12 month stuff and is in size 3 diapers. Spencer goes back and forth between 2T-3T depending on the brand. He seems to have big feet that are wide, he wears a size 8 shoe.
On Thursday I brought Easton into the clinic. He's been fighting a bad cold for a solid 2 weeks. It was affecting his eating and sleeping. It was also making his cheeks all red and rashy. She checked out his ears and they were clear. She said it was a good thing if he's had a bad cold for 2 weeks and it hadn't settled into his ears. Maybe we won't have to go through all of the ear infections with Easton. She did think that it had moved into his sinuses. She put him on antibiotics but I really only gave him one dose as he seems to be much better. Now if only the two bottom teeth would just poke through we would be good to go. I'm guessing by the end of this week they should be through. That's how much they are buldging out!
While dad stayed home to play in Uncle JB's golf outing, the boys and I headed to EC to spend the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa. Friday night we joined the group for fish fry. Spencer was so excited to see Dutch he could hardly wait. That's what he talked about the whole car ride. Dutch is so good to both Finley and Spencer. He took them out to the putting green and let them play around before the food came.
Easton's going to need to get a little faster if he wants to keep up with the big boys!

Saturday was the M&J picnic. So Miss Teigan from school came to watch the boys. Miss Teigan is one of Easton's teachers. Both boys were excited to see her. I got a good report that both boys played well and ate great dinners and were sound asleep before I got home.
We celebrated the first Packer game with a party at my parent's house. Gone are the days of hanging out and drinking beer while watching the game. Ryan said he's never missed so much of a Packer game. Now it's watching the game between diaper changes, feeding kids, and playing with toys. Our neighbors Kyle and Kristin, Terryl, Jake and their kids Averi, Alexia, and Olivia all joined us for the game. We took a boat ride around the lake before the game. Even the kids had fun playing together.

Spencer and Easton want to wish their grandma's and grandpa's a happy late grandparent's day. Both boys are so lucky to have so many people in their lives who love and care for them! Thanks for being such great grandparents!
