Spencer fell out of bed one night but continued to stay asleep!
We had Gavin and Maddie over on Monday while their parents were at meetings. Gavin and Spencer play so well with each other and it's fun to watch them entertain themselves. It also makes things easier for us. They are both welcome back anytime!
I can't believe they both napped by each other.
Spencer got to go to Auntie's. They went for a walk and had lunch.
Saturday my mom, sister and I went to watch some family friends in the Sound Of Music. It was fun to watch them in the show and they all did great. It was on the way back to Eau Claire that I realized I can no longer take long car rides without getting really uncomfortable.
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. Being a mom is one of the best and most challenging things at times. I feel very blessed to have 2 and soon to be 3 little boys in my life. They mean the world to me and I would do anything for them. I'm also very lucky to have a wonderful mom and grandma to my boys.
You know you are a mom of 3 boys when you get a pink and black baseball glove for mothers day! The boys also got me perfume.
The boys got Grandma stuff for her garden.
We went out for lunch and then took pictures in the gardens afterwards.
Easton had just about had it with pictures.
Carol and Bill also joined us for lunch!
House Update!
Not a lot to report this week. I'm sure Ryan could tell you everything that changed and all the new stuff they did but I don't pay attention to all the details. I do know they started to put the shingles on this week. We sat and talked to our new neighbors for awhile on Friday night. I think it will be nice for the boys to have friends right next door to play with.Baby Update!
After an interesting Monday and I will spare everyone the details I ended up going into the hospital that night around 9:00 pm. I really didn't want to go because I had an appointment that following day and even the on call doctor was torn on what to do. I was hooked up to the monitors right away and we watched for contractions (I had a few but nothing major). They ran a few other tests and after about two hours I was on my way home. I decided to go to our local hospital instead of making the hour drive to Eau Claire. It was a nice place to visit but I still want to deliver back home.
The heart rate stayed mostly in the 130's
On Tuesday I had my appointment with the maternity counselor. We talked about delivery and the events of the night before. While we chatted I got to drink the orange sugar drink so I could be tested for gestational diabetes. They always tell you they will call if anything is abnormal. Well about two hours later I had a missed call. I was worried that something came up in my lab work. After talking to the nurse I found out I'm a little anemic this time around and that I need to start taking extra iron. I didn't have this before and I'm not to concerned as I was only a few points low. Everything else checked out normal. I'm currently 29 weeks. I still have a hard time believing we are going to be a family of 5 in 10 weeks or less! I'm getting very anxious and nervous!
