Then many faces of Easton....
Spencer just being his normal crazy self.....
Inside Zoey's kennel.
I first have to say thank you to my mom for watching our boys Sunday night so that I was able to go home clean our house and I didn’t have to worry about getting them up and ready in the morning. I appreciate all that my mom does for us and I know we are lucky to have such a caring Grandma. The boys got to spend the day with Grandma playing instead of going to day care. When my mom dropped them off to me on Monday night Spencer cried for her when she left. He loves his Grandma and enjoys spending time with her (I’m sure he get’s just about whatever he wants when he is with her).
Ryan was still in Vegas on Monday so it was just the boys and I. We took a long walk, had dinner and then it was time for bed. First I got Easton down and then it was Spencer’s turn. He had taken a late and long nap at Grandma's so he wasn’t super tired but after a few rounds of him getting in and out he was asleep. At 1:30 am I woke up to Spencer’s bedroom door shutting and he was out of his room. He came in our room and I pulled him up in our bed thinking he can sleep with me. Well he wanted to watch cartoons and since that wasn’t going to happen it was back to his bed. We did the in and out routine a few times, I thought he was finally asleep so I went back to my room. Well it wasn’t 5 minutes later and Spencer was back in our bed. Just as we were both snuggled in on my pillow I heard a little cry come over the monitor, Easton was awake now! So at 2:15 am Spencer, Easton and I were all downstairs. Spencer had a glass of milk while laying on the couch while I fed Easton. Spencer must have thought this was fun because he started laughing and talking and all I could was laugh at the situation. I did send Ryan a few text messages letting him know all of the late night fun he was missing out on!
For some reason these pictures never get old!
Thursday our friends Jill and Gavin came over to play outside. They played on the swing set and in the sand/dirt that is around our house where we need to finish the landscaping. Finally they were getting a little bored with that so I filled Spencer’s crab sandbox up with water for them to splash around in. Both boys had so much fun running around without their clothes on. They even got to take a bath together to get all the sand and sunscreen off before they headed home. I figure Jill and I will be teasing Spencer and Gavin with these pictures when they get older, they will be perfect for the graduation videos!
This weekend my mom, sister and I all went to Madison to see the Lion King. I was looking forward to a weekend away and to spend some time with just them. The Lion King was great just like everyone says it is and the costumes were amazing. After the show we met our friend Ginny and Grandma Nancy for dinner. We even decided since we didn’t have the boys with us we would stop and do some shopping in the Dells at the outlet malls.
I’m not sure what all the boys did while I was gone. I know that Easton wasn’t the best sleeper and it rained most of the day on Saturday so they were stuck inside. Ryan told me that Spencer ate 13 mini pancakes one morning so at least I know he was being fed. Now that Spencer is older and is talking more when you call home he is excited to talk to you on the phone and I was able to tell him goodnight . I think they kept Ryan very busy and he now understands a little bit more why I’m tired at the end of the days when he gets home. Being a stay at home mom or dad is a hard job some days! I missed the boys very much while I was gone and I was super excited to see them when I got home.
Ryan's exact quote when I got home "I don't know how you do it.... I haven't showered or shaved in 2 days!" He also mentioned that he's ready to go back to work on Monday!
