First up Josie Marie!
Could she be any cuter?
We brought her to the vet the Monday after we got her. The doctor was great and gave Josie the thumbs up. She weighed in at 6 pounds.
She smelled kind of stinky from being at the breeders so we gave her a bath.
She LOVES to snuggle like a baby. I could hold her on my shoulder and she would fall asleep just like the boys did when they were babies.
I spy a Josie hiding in the shoe basket.
My cousin's dog Timber stayed with us for a few days. Josie wanted him to play so bad but he just wasn't that into her.
We are trying to get into the habit of taking Josie for a walk each night.
But as a puppy she mostly sleeps.
This is a habit that we need to break but she's so darn cute!
We've had lots of friends stop by to meet her. Who doesn't love a snuggly puppy?
She was curious to see what Nolan was up to.

These two are the best of friends.
We celebrated the March birthday's by going to the Shout House in Minneapolis. Heather is the only one in the pictures below that has a March birthday. We didn't get any pictures of the guys that night.
Sleeping in your bed in this house is optional I guess..

With the temps warming up the golf course opened so Ryan took the boys to hit balls.
We celebrated St. Patricks day.
I was able to chaperone a school field trip for Spencer. We went to the Children's Museum. It was CRAZY with all of those first graders running around.
Here's Spencer's art work that was on the wall. If he found a pot of gold he would cash it in for $100.00 and buy goalie equipment, a jet and the state of Texas. I think maybe he should keep the gold.
Amanda and I took the older boys out for dinner. We allowed them to try strawberry daiquiris minus the alcohol. Spencer thought it was ok.
We celebrated Spencer's birthday early with dinner at his choice. He picked Applebee's. He made sure to tell our waiter that it was his birthday and asked if they would sing to him.
He got to open his presents early also.
It's hard to believe our oldest is 7! We were truly blessed with this little boy. Here are a few pictures looking back over the last 7 years.
So what is our 7 year old up to?
Favorite things: Sports. Any and all sports. He loves to play them all and he's even requesting to watch some on TV. He loves dressing up in all sports uniforms also.
Shows: He likes watching Kickin' It, a kid's karate sitcom. He's moved beyond cartoons and now prefers shows with real kids.
What he's up to: He's enjoying 1st grade and likes to help his teacher in the class room, some times opting to miss recess so he can help clean and earn a piece of candy. He has fun riding the bus to and from school. This spring he will play machine pitch baseball and a spring hockey season in Minnesota with a team that was put together of kids his age from Hudson. He's excited for the warm weather to hit so he can play in the water and all of the fun activities in our cul-de-sac.
Foods: Apparently he loves calamari (we found this out on our recent trip to Mexico). He's our child that is willing to try some new things. He loves meatballs, pizza and cheeseburgers. He's allergic to apples, bananas, watermelon and carrots.
Spencer is starting to show us the attitude kids can get as they get older but he's still our big hearted kid. We love you Spencer!
