You Know It's Winter/Cold Out When.....

You get to enjoy the first real snow fall one evening with your kids...

The face he made running at me with a snowball....

They get to go sledding for the first time in our back yard...

The commutes to and from work take well over an hour.....

Even though it's 10 degrees Easton still thinks it's 80. It's a good thing we love him and keep the house warm.

Spencer had a class field trip to the tree farm. Thank you Grandma Debbie for toughing out the rain/snow and cold to go along while we were at work. He's lucky to have had you there.

I took Easton to a holiday craft fair and came home with fudge and little light up packer guys.

You get to have dinner at the hockey rink when Spencer is on the ice for practice.

You get to have play dates with friends from school. The boys are waiting for Spencer's friend to arrive

During the play date they convinced me they are too hot in the house and wanted to play outside. It was 5 degrees out I swear that day. We only lasted 30 minutes at the most!

They are forced to play with all the toys that have been sitting in their toy bins and the basement for the past year since they have been able to be outside so much. Ryan and I also found that our house does NOT stay picked up over the course of a weekend. They are getting into EVERYTHING!

You get to take cute naked baby butt photos in front of Christmas trees.

Spencer and Finley got to enjoy their first real theater production. We took them to see Wizard Of Oz and they loved it....

Even if Spencer did fall asleep with 10 minutes to go!

They are forced to use their imagination to come up with new games. Easton made a movie theater for these heads and it quickly turned into a boat.

They like to hold my hand during quiet time. I personally think this is the best!

They create their own color charts for the bathroom using LEGO bricks.

We start taking more trips to the YMCA for swimming and playing in the gym...

We had a neighborhood Christmas Party. We went out for dinner and played bocce ball.

Not sure how we ended up here or why but we had a lot of fun laughing about it!

There are slumber party movies on the living room floor.

Even though their not pictured Grandpa, Grandma, Auntie, Finley and Hadley all came to Spencer's hockey game tonight.

The elf is still doing his magic and moving each night trying to find new spots for the boys to find him!
