This post is going to be in random order as I'm trying to even remember what all has happened over the last 2 weeks. So here we go...
I had to be on call from Friday night starting at 5:00 pm until Monday morning at 8:00 am. When I'm on call I have to be able to go to the hospital at a moments notice. This also happened to be the one weekend a year that Ryan and his college friends get together for a weekend at a friend's cabin. So Auntie Dixie and Uncle Tim (I think Spencer and Easton are convinced they are their grandma and grandpa also) offered to watch the boys. I wasn't worried about the boys, I was more worried if Auntie and Uncle Tim would be able to keep up. They all kept VERY busy!
They went to a football game.
Explored around their house.....
and the park next door.
Picked and ate a lot of green beans from the garden.
They got to go on lots of golf cart rides. They also spent some time with Tanner, Shellee, Darren and Conner.
Auntie Dixie and her friend went to the children's museum and spent almost 3 hours there. No wonder they were all tired!
Thank You Auntie Dixie and Uncle Tim! I know the boys had a blast spending the weekend with you.
The boys finished off the weekend ty-dying at grandma's
It was hot and humid this week! We took advantage and tried to enjoy what's left of summer. After dinner the boys went for a swim.
It looks like he's peeing but he's actually pouting because Ryan didn't throw him the ball.
We got out the water slide again.
We enjoyed root beer floats...
Celebrated two of the neighbor kids birthdays with a grill out.
Played outside a ton!
The evening finally came. It was time to meet the person Spencer will be spending 5 days a week with for the next 10ish months. We got to meet his teacher, Ms. Wald. We also got to see where his cubby is and his hook for his back pack. So many emotions are running through me as I think about him starting school. I'm excited for him. I'm sad as I will miss having him home on our stay home days. I'm also excited to only be home with 2 kids during the week. I'm anxious and nervous for how the first few weeks will go. Will he remember his lunch code, to get on the bus, will he make new friends, what if he gets lost and will he like school. He will go next week for 1 hour on Wednesday and then the full day on Friday. Keep your fingers crossed for a smooth transition.

Start of school means you get to go back to school shopping. Grandma offered to take him. After they did some shopping they enjoyed a few rides. Grandma also took him on the big roller coaster. I'm impressed as my mom HATES roller coasters. She tried her hardest not to scream too loud so she wouldn't scare him.
Another sign our kids are getting older.... Nolan had his 2 year check up this week. The boys can stop getting older at anytime. Oh, I just love our little Nolan. He keeps us busy. The words I would use to describe Nolan are: Fast, funny, gentle, stubborn, he talks a lot and loves his brothers.
Our not so little boy anymore weighted in at 29 pounds 57%, 35 inches 63% and his head is in the 87%. Poor guy had to get 1 shot but as soon as she showed him the stickers the tears were gone and he was happy as could be.

Easton LOVES to sleep in. This was 9:45 am right before I woke him up.
In July we attempted the kid's pictures. Spencer and Finley's 5 year and Nolan and Hadley's 2 year. We also thought it would be fun... ok torture to attempt all 5 together. Here are a few that turned out ok. I seriously give anyone credit that attempts to take pictures of our 5 together.
Pictures were over so the suckers came out and we finally allowed them to touch the water in the fountain.
The boys have been gone again all weekend. I promise we do ditch them all the time but it feels like we have been the last few weekends. Ryan and I will celabrate being married 10 years on the 6th! He surprised me with a much needed weekend getaway to Duluth. We were both looking forward to spending some time together just the two of us.
We took a lot of selfies while we were gone.
We went for a walk along the shore line.
Watched the bridge go up and down as the big boats came through.
We ate TONS of great food and I'm actually still feeling full today. Ryan enjoyed a banana split!
We had some yummy drinks.
Ryan joined me for a run one morning. We ran to the light house.
We also did some hiking at Gooseberry Falls State Park that leads to a beautiful water fall
I think Ryan was waiting for me to fall in.
We did some rock skipping.
After sharing 2 bottles of wine Ryan, opted for a coffee run while I ran. Duluth has some GREAT views!
I actually agreed to go golfing!
It's hard to believe it will be 10 years. Our lives have changed SO much in those 10 years. We couldn't be happier with where we are today.
