More Time....

The title of our blog is how I have been feeling lately. It seems like I'm always wishing I had an extra day or more time to get things done. Currently it's 7:15 pm on Sunday and I'm finally sitting down after working on and off all day today. I have about 101 things I should be working on or getting done but honestly right now I just don't want to do any of them. There are puzzle pieces all over the living room floor along with other random toys. Below my computer desk chair there are magnets, magna tiles, parts to a fishing game and a ball. I should be putting them all away but I don't want to. I have at least 3 more loads of laundry of the 7 we've been working on all weekend to finish and put away but I don't want to. Thankfully Ryan finished making the soup I started before getting called in so dinner was taken care of.  I'm about a year behind on uploading and printing pictures from shutterfly but I figure if I'm already a year behind whats one more day? Spencer's birthday is coming up in a few weeks that I need to start thinking about, our trip to Mexico and Easter will be here before we know it also! March is a busy month. So with that ALL being said if my blog posts seem not as exciting or lacking in stories and pictures it's because I'm just trying to stay above water these days. Ok enough venting, sorry....

Onto the week!

Last Sunday the boys and I went to Eau Claire. We celebrated Grandpa's birthday with lunch and cake. Afterwards the older boys, Grandma, Zoey and I all headed to Madison. We had Zoey's treatment on Monday.

Ryan stayed home with Nolan. He texted me that he couldn't find Nolan for a little bit and this is where he was. Under Spencer's bed.

We took the boys out to eat at Texas Roadhouse. If you have little kids I recommend it. It's loud so you fit in and they have peanuts that they can crack open to keep them entertained. They also don't care if you throw the shells on the floor. Thankfully because Easton loved that part the most.

The boys got to go swimming when we got back to the hotel.

They also talked to Nolan on the ipad.

Uncle Tim sent us this photo of the snowman he made. Puts our snowman to shame!

Once we got home the boys had their first night of their new swimming classes. I let them burn off some of their energy in the gym after sitting in the car for 4 hours. I have to say they were GREAT travelers and never fussed or whined once!

Easton got to move up 2 classes in swimming. He now gets in the pool without Ryan or I. He loves swimming just like Spencer.

Ryan and I went to a Wild hockey game on Tuesday. It was my first one of the season.

We celebrated Dr. Seuss on our stay home day. We made green eggs and ham for a treat to bring to daycare.

Easton read to us but insisted he sit on Nolan's changing table while he read.

They celebrated Dr. Seuss at school on Friday. We dug out their old halloween costumes and both were excited to wear their stuff to school.

We took the boys out to dinner that evening. I wish this is how they looked the whole time at dinner. Thankfully the resturant is fast because our boys were busy and Nolan was fussy.

Spencer thought mixing his goldfish crackers with his mac and cheese was yummy.

It's nice for the boys to have a friend right next door. This is how boys play dress up.

I bought Saint Patrick's day window decals. The boys had fun hanging them up. But already after day 1 we are down to only four things left. They just can't leave them alone once they are up.

Enjoying breakfast on the floor.

Nolan prefers to sit on the couch without the cushion. I think it's because it's easier for him to climb up on.

Nolan's favorite words to say right now are "More milk" "Please" "Love You" and "Thank You." I love hearing all of them. He is so cute....

With warmer temps this weekend we took advantage and spent a lot of time outside. Nolan has a few sharing lessons to learn hopefully before summer comes. You would think with 2 older brothers he would be great at sharing but I think he gets tired of sharing all the time and fights for what is his.

Oh Easton..... he came into our room with two different socks, shoes on and a change of clothes.

This is where I found Nolan one morning while I was in the other room.

Spencer had a birthday party for a girl from school today. This girl told her mom she thinks Spencer would make a great husband. Spencer says "she bugs me."

*A question that had Ryan and I smiling last night from Spencer was "Dad, do you have camel on your ice cream?"

Translation: "Dad, do you have carmel on your ice cream?"

Mostly Pictures...

The older boys and I are leaving for Madison this afternoon with Grandma and Zoey. She has her treatment now on Monday since we couldn't go on Friday due to the weather. So this post will be mostly pictures with a few captions. That's pretty much what most people like anyway.

The only thing we did that was really worth taking pictures was going to the museum with Auntie, Finley and Hadley in Eau Claire on Friday. We attempted going to Madison on Friday but the roads were too bad. We made it about 25 miles and then had to turn around, so we stayed in Eau Claire for the morning.

While at lunch I asked Finley if he wanted to come spend the night at Aunite's. 4 kids makes for a car full. The boys all had fun and did well together.

Easton probably slept like this for 45 minutes. He's a freeze baby and sometimes refuses to take off his coat.

The boys played outside for awhile with the neighbors. The middle of our cul de sac is where all of the snow from the road piles up. The boys love it!

I felt brave and took the 3 older boys to a movie. Finley slept the first 15-20 minutes and by the end Spencer could hardly keep his eyes open.

We made a big bed on the floor for them to cuddle and watch a cartoon before going to bed. Spencer fell asleep on the floor. Finley slept in Spencer's bed and Easton out lasted them all, even Ryan who ended up falling asleep where these three were!

More random pictures from the week. How is this possible that he didn't fall out? He's asleep!

Playing at the gym.

Nolan likes the electronic games just as much as his brothers. He really likes it when they're not around to take them away from him.

We took the boys out for frozen yogurt to a new place in Hudson. Nolan's ice cream doesn't look that appetizing, but it was chocolate and it was good!
