Phone Photos...

Not sure what happened but we barely took any pictures with the camera this week, they were mostly with our phones. Finally we had an average week.

Hockey and skating are a big part of our lives right now. Both boys love being on the ice. It's nice to have something fun for them to do in the winter. Spencer does really well and Easton is catching on quickly. I love that we have active boys and hockey definitely helps burn off their energy.
Tackling the coach during practice

We are lucky to have a pond right at the end of our cul-de-sac.
This is why having a skate sharpener is nice. We found Easton walking on the bike path, twice.

Our soon to be new neighbor even came to try out skating for the first time. His parents are hoping he won't like skating and stick to basketball.

It was beautiful out last Sunday and all of the neighbors were out skating.

The boys even go to the pond in the evening and skate till it gets too dark to see.

Spencer wanted to wear his cheese head hat to school.

This picture sums up one of our stay home days this week.

Nolan had been extra fussy and daycare and they said he was grabbing at one of his ears. Sure enough the little pumpkin has an ear infection. It makes me cringe to watch them play with the toys at the clinic. I know they are full of germs. I was unprepared though as I had to take him in right after work. I had no form of entertainment with me.

Nolan is a trouble maker to a T! He found out how the water comes out of the fridge. He pushes the chairs and stools all around the kitchen to get to the things he wants.

We got out a few of our Christmas presents that we hadn't played with yet. First we tried out the marble track. Nolan LOVES it and would laugh as the marbles went round and round.

I know NOTHING about hot wheels. I would say my first attempt at putting a track together wasn't to bad.

I wont lie. I love when this happens. They were watching a cartoon and the next thing I knew Spencer was on the floor asleep. Makes bedtime way easier.

This weekend at Spencer's hockey practice they got to skate with the high school team. Spencer was in aww of them. He came home and told me all about the "real" hockey players. I think it's great that the team does this. They made the day of one 4 year old!

Afterwards the boys had lunch at the rink and they were going to stay to watch a game but it sounds like they got a little too crazy so Ryan brought them home, but not before they spilled two drinks all over the floor and stairs.

I enjoy having time with just Nolan. He's getting to be such a big boy and I'm thinking we are counting down the days until the high chair is gone. I've caught him a few times sneaking up on the stool to finish his brother's dinner. So today for lunch I let him sit at the island. He was excited!

Operation sure has changed from when I was little. Their are new pieces and I remember the buzzer sound being a lot louder and scaring me when it would go off.

Ryan took the boys to play mini golf at the Mall of America while Nolan and I did some returns.

Afterwards we had dinner before heading home. Ryan heard a table of 18 year olds next to us talking about us with our boys. The response of one of the kids was "well life goes on..." I wonder what our family of 3 little boys looks like to them.

You can't see it too well but I brought this picture home that Spencer colored. I thought it was great. It's a farmer with his barn. He drew a donut and a giraffe. Apparently those are his favorite things.

Just a small glimpse into every day life. Spencer and Easton teasing Nolan with bites of sherbet.

I couldn't resist as I was walking through the shoe depart at Nordstroms. Hadley is a lucky girl her Auntie doesn't have any girls to shop for. These were to cute not to buy.

Go Packers!
