We joined friends at my sister's for a kid friendly New Year's eve party. I'm sure someday we will see the ball drop again. This year the boys got tired around 10:30 pm so we headed back to grandma and grandpa's house. It's kind of nice waking up the next morning and not having a hang over.
I tried to get a work out in at Grandpa's Gym. It's always interesting trying to work out while the kids are awake. Spencer tried riding the bike next to me. Eventually we were all on the floor doing sit ups and push ups. I like that my kids see me working out but it's way easier to not have them around.
We celebrated the Badgers being in the Rose Bowl and Grandma's birthday. Too bad the Badgers didn't win but the boys looked cute cheering for them.
I'm not sure what came over me but I got this crazy idea I could still dance like I did in high school. I decided to sign up for our Alumni Dance routine. Every year past dancers come back and preform to a song at the half time of a basketball game. It was fun but I'm not sure I will be rushing out to do it again. I think I'm probably physically in better shape then I was in high school but my legs and body are not as flexible.
Saturday Ryan headed to Green Bay with a friend for the win over the Vikings!
The little boys spent time with Grandma and Grandpa.
I got to spend the day with my favorite 4 year old. We went skating on the pond.
Bowling with friends.
Had pizza and watched the start of the game at a neighbor's house.
I guess Spencer didn't learn from Nolan and it was his turn getting stuck in the new toy chest.
Nolan from a week ago...
