Last weekend Spencer asked if some friends could come over to play so we invited his friend Sam. Before Sam came over Spencer I went to the store and he made sure to pick out enough treats for Sam, Easton and himself. I'm pretty sure we sent Sam home on a sugar high. They had donuts with Packer sprinkles on them and suckers. The boys wanted to play football in the backyard. Every day they have to bring their footballs to school to play outside.

I don't actually want to talk about Monday since Ryan has been in a bad mood ever since that night. He said he was up till 2:00 am watching news coverage on the game. Before the game though the boys went down to the neighbor's house. They had painted a mini Lambeau field on their grass. Spencer LOVES it.
Even though our weather has been really nice these last few days we are still getting ready for fall. The boys each got to put up window decals. Easton's are slowing disappearing. He keeps taking them down and I told him if I find them on the floor I'm going to throw them away. I'm sure in a week he will have none left.
We grilled out with friends on Friday. We know our nice days/evenings will come to an end soon so I feel we need to be outside as much as possible. The boys liked the Halloween Jello Jill and Gavin made.
Even Nolan got to try some.

These 2 are about 6 months apart with Easton being older. I think Maddie is going to pass him up soon in height.
Rory and Nolan are only 1 week apart. From behind they look like they could be twins. They are both very blonde with curls. When we log into the daycare camera we have a hard time telling them apart.
Normally we take the boys to pick apples during the fall festavile. This year we went early hoping it wouldn't be too busy. We got there right away and the place was quiet. We went out in the fields picked some apples and even some pumpkins. It's a great apple orchard with a lot of things to do.

They have lots of stuff for kids to do. Sadly we skipped the animals and the big rocking chair. Spencer didn't have on his listening ears after lunch and so we packed up and headed home.
Nolan got to pick his first apple with Ryan's help.

Whats New With....
SPENCER!
Wow, I love the age 4. It seems he has grown up so much in the last year. He has such a big heart and loves being a helper. He is good with his brothers and we've been getting a lot of good reports from school. He continues to melt my heart with how nice he can be. Don't get me wrong, he can throw his fair share of tantrums and fits! I just never worry as much when he is with other people because I know for the most part he will behave.
Things he likes and activities he's in:
*Flag Football
*Playing football outside, in the basement or at school with his friends.
*He's always trying to sing the national anthem.
*Reading books. His teacher also tells us how well he does at sounding things out and coming up with words for different letters.
*Any and every art project.
*As I mentioned a helper. He likes to help me at the store, hold Nolan's hand while they walk into daycare and he told us today he likes to pick the job as the Weather Helper at school.
*He still likes Peppa Pig but he hasn't been as picky about what he watches for cartoons.
*He prefers chocolate granola bars for his treat. Meaning chocolate chip.
*He told us he doesn't have a girlfriend. He's starting the whole "That's for girls and I'm a boy."
EASTON!
I think 2 can be a very challenging age. I guess that's why they came up with terrible twos. It's not that he's naughty (though he can be) Easton is just very strong willed and stubborn. I think both Ryan and I will say he got it from the other. He is VERY independent and wants things to be a certain way. Yet he loves to be just like Spencer and do all the things and say all the things he does. He is very proud of himself when he does a good job. For example he will say "I not get out of my big boy bed." "I not being naughty." He's as cute as can be and loves to be tickled.
Things he likes and activities he's in:
*Him and I started having a date night on Thursdays. We are going to go out to eat and then to music class. I love spending 1 on 1 time with him. He's such a different kid when he is alone.
*He's very proud that he's riding a big boy bike with training wheels.
*He still LOVES milk and would live off of it if he could but he is defiantly trying more and more foods.
*He likes to read books and repeat the last few words you read from each page.
*Still loves his blankets.
*Every thing has been about soccer. I think this started after we watched Finley play.
*He prefers fruit snacks for his treat.
*We have moved from Monsters Inc to Toy Store and the baseball movie (Everybody's Hero)
*He told us he has 2 girlfriends. Olivia and Alexia who happen to be twins.
NOLAN!
I forgot how busy 1 can be! He is such a monkey. He's learned to push chairs around the kitchen so he can see what's on the counter tops. He will climb on anything that's not supposed to be climbed on. Though he hasn't attempted the couch or anything like that. He is a happy baby and loves to be with his brothers and outside. He knows when the door opens and tries to get there as fast as he can. He's had a bit of naughty streak in him this past week. He's been hitting. Not hard, more a tap but he will walk up and kind of tap you and then giggle. His daily sheets from school has said "Working on gentle touches with friends and listening." By the end of the week he did get a report saying he has been much better though. What a little stinker!
Things he likes:
*We haven't taken his nuk yet (1.5 months left.) and his blanket.
*He also has a love a milk and when we wake him up in the morning he's looking for it.
*Loves being busy and climbing.
*He prefers fruit strip bars for his snack.
*He loves giving hugs.
*Being with his brothers. He wants to do the things they are doing. Even if it bugs them.
*He does really well sitting and looking at books. They've even commented on that a few times that he will sit for group time or to just look and books at school.
*He said his first word this week. Buh Bye!!!
